Fractured Soul – the multi award winning platform game on 3DS – is coming to Steam (we hope)! The game has received over 50 review scores of 80% or better since launching on 3DS a few months ago, and now we’d like to take all the feedback from fans – both old and new – and incorporate those ideas into a Steam version.

Just another “retro style platformer… with a twist”?
Fractured Soul has its gameplay heavily inspired by classic series that we ourselves grew up loving, and it is most often compared with Mega Man – GamingTruth says it “feels a lot like Mega Man” (9/10). Like so many other indie platform games these days, it’s a “retro style platformer…with a twist!” We’d like to think our duality game mechanic is more than a silly marketing gimmick, though, and Game Chronicles said it “has changed the way I will look at the genre for some time” (4 stars). The Fractured Soul universe operates in two dimensions, and you are equipped with the ability to change dimensions at any time by tapping a button. Switch dimensions to avoid enemy fire, sneak around enemies, and reach seemingly unreachable locations.
